Magnetics Design

Advanced Magnetics Design
Powerful Dowell’s equations are used to analyze proximity losses in windings, the dominant source of error in converter losses. A unique feature of RidleyWorks is the generation of circuit models to accurately solve for ac winding losses in time-domain simulations.
PSIM® Link
The complete design from RidleyWorks is automatically exported to a PSIM schematic, ready to simulate immediately. This feature gets you up and running in PSIM in a matter of minutes, even if you have never used this high-speed simulator before
LTSpice® Link
The complete design parameters are exported to LTspice, the world’s most popular simulation package. Highly detailed and complex analysis can be performed by working with RidleyWorks and the resulting LTspice models.
RidleyBox™ Control
The RidleyBox is directly controlled from the RidleyWorks software for fast setup of the instrument for optimal results and for incorporation of the measurements into the design process.
AP310 Control
Ridleyworks provides a powerful interface for controlling the AP310 analyzer and incorporating the measurement results into the design process. Setup of the instrument for different measurements is automated with the click of a button. p>
Transfer Functions
All of the important transfer functions can be viewed and designed interactively. Incorporating all of the analytical knowledge for PWM converters from Drs. Ridley and Vorperian, no other software comes close.
